Food Recall Due To Undeclared Wheat

“Daniel’s Western Meat Packers Turkey Patty” is being recalled by Daniel’s Western Meat Packers due to undeclared wheat.

These patties were sold to restaurants and distributers in Illinois and California.  The frozen turkey patties have the establishment number EST. P-2896 inside the USDA inspection mark.  The patties were produced on the following dates:

  • Feb. 18, 2009
  • March 27, 2009
  • April 1, 2009
  • April 10, 2009
  • April 17, 2009
  • May 23, 2009
  • Dec. 28, 2009
  • Jan. 22, 2010

If you have any questions you can call (562) 948-4408.  If you live in either Illinois or California and have a wheat allergy, it is probably best to avoid turkey patties in restaurants for the next few weeks.
